This is the first game in the entire franchise of games that will lead on to the better games. This game is pretty good start for the later games, you start out as playing as Desmond Miles when he captured by Abstergo and put into the Animus to help them find an artifact called Piece of Eden. You will also play not just as Desmond but also as his ancestor named Altair Ibn-La’Ahad which he is and Assassin fighting the Templars during the 3rd Crusade. As for the game style is pretty good with some character development and with the backgrounds of the game are a little dirty (in my point of view). For the gaining of intel on the targets is a little bit confusing and also boring as well. The character designs are up to date for the console that it was on at the time but for me the characters do seem a little blocky in form during cut scenes. The combat is okay for my standards it does seem to be slow at times when attacking enemies. This game in my point of view is one of the hardest games out of the series and will leave you sometimes frustrated but the story does hold up to be seen as way for the other sequels to follow behind. I would rate this game a 3 out of 5 stars and a 7/10; the game is a action adventure and stealth game. The game is playable on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
